Cottonwood Capital Management is a Montana-based registered investment advisor focused on deep research and investing in outstanding public companies. The boutique structure ensures a high level of client service and an ability to communicate our research through quarterly investment commentaries.

Here at Cottonwood, we turn over rocks, lots of them. We focus on the companies which appear to offer the greatest risk/reward profile and buy them when they appear to be attractively priced. This approach has proven itself through the generations with value investors being well-compensated for their patience and discipline.

Andrew McCormick is the managing member and portfolio manager for Cottonwood. His career began as an investment manager for a small commodity hedge fund. Later, he worked for Blackrock within their alternative investment group. Andrew started Cottonwood Capital Management in 2021 in order to manage family investment accounts and to focus on value investing and buying (mostly) U.S. public companies.
